| VPN is blocked | A friend of mine has been trying to get a VPN going between his home PC and works NT server. When customer support is called, they respond saying that LANs aren't supported. A VPN isn't a LAN, it just allows you to make a connection via the internet to another computer and then act as a node on a network through the internet. Grey area? Th rep also said that VPN may be blocked. If that's the case then why aren't FTP and WWW server's blocked too? | 08/23/1999 | Fact!
